Outlast Trials Closed Beta Announced

Red Barrels has been relatively quiet about its upcoming Outlast Trials. There’s been a few pieces of concept art, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage, not to mention a teaser trailer. However, outside that, no one has really seen a great deal about the upcoming threequel.

But at this year’s Gamescom, there was some more footage shown, teasing at the horror that awaits players in the upcoming Outlast multiplayer title (don’t worry – there’s a single-player campaign as well, apparently). As can be expected from Red Barrels, this latest footage shows some of the gruesome and disturbing content that fans have come to expect from the Murkoff Corporation.

While there’s also been a great deal of anticipation surrounding an official release date, we’re still not quite there yet. However, there will be a closed beta, which will be in operation between October 28 and November 1. Those who are interested in trying out the beta of Outlast Trials will be given further instructions on how to sign up soon.

Some may be a little disappointed that the game doesn’t yet have a full release date. However, this does mean that it can’t be far away, and in the meantime, there’s an opportunity to at least try it out, so it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on updates to see how and when to sign up.

For now, make sure to check out the new Outlast Trials trailer below. The game can also be wishlisted on Steam and Epic Games Store.
