cjmelendez_Like the HD Collection before it, Amazon.com has revealed the box art for Silent Hill: Downpour. It’s not as elegant as the HD Collection’s art, but it gets the job done.
Murphy is standing in the rain with an axe while in a very tense posture. The colors are monochromatic, with an orange logo for the title. The colors are decent, but I was really expecting something flashy after seeing the HD Collection’s cover. Regardless, this cover is nicer than some covers we have seen in the series. Silent Hill 4’s infamous ghost face ruined a perfectly good creepy door, and Homecoming’s family portrait was uninteresting. Now let’s see how the game inside fairs when it releases this fall.
