Chernobylite Blasts Onto Steam Early Access On October 16

Chernobylite

The Farm 51‘s Chernobylite is one of the most attractive horror video games on the horizon right now. If you want to beat the hype and try it in Steam Early Access, you can do so on October 16. In the newly released Early Access video, you can see all the features that Chernobylite brings to the table, bringing elements of survival and terror to create something extraordinary.

Early Access will have three main areas of open-world play that change dynamically. There will be an eight-hour main story, noticeable changes in weather conditions, four additional locations centered on the narrative, nine history missions with non-linear dialogues, and options and decisions that will affect the course of the plot. There will also be twelve replayable missions and random events that will occur in the game. You will not be alone in Chernobylite, because you can recruit a partner and each partner brings their own personality and skills.

As with any survival game, to access all of the above you to stay alive, which will not be easy. You have to find materials and food, create medicines, improve your base, and manage your experience points and skills. As for combat, you can use stealth to kill enemies from behind, but you will also have weapons like a revolver or shotgun to kill humans and monsters.

The Farm 51 also announced a closed alpha for those who took part in their Kickstarter campaign. Backers will have access to the alpha version of the game starting September 17 and developers want players to report bugs and ideas for the project.

Chernobylite will launch in the second half of 2020 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
