Project Zero (Fatal Frame) 2: Wii Edition overview trailer released; lots of new info

A new 6-minute long trailer has been released for the Japanese version of the upcoming ‘Project Zero II (Fatal Frame 2): Wii Edition’ remake (that title is seriously deceitful in making it sound like a port rather than the straight-up remake it is) that is set to release in Japan on June 28th, and Europe on June 29th. The trailer shows a lot from the game, including remade cutscenes, new mechanics, remade locations, the enhanced combat and upgrade system, as well as showing off some of the new content of the game, including a new theme song and the new Haunted House 2-player mode. You can check it all out in the trailer below.

Cant wait love all the Fatal Frame games, they’ve never let me down when I’m in the mood for a good scare!!!!

That “Haunted House” mode looks like one of the minigame things in Spirit Camera for 3DS. Honestly though, that was one of the best features of that game, so it’s good that they’re using it for this.

How much this second entry in the franchise is my very most favourite, i don’t understand why they thought they needed to redo the game. Especially when you know that the 4th entry never went to Europe.

Why do people like all these repeats nowadays? I don’t get it.

I really hope the original theme tune ‘Chou’ by Amano Tsukiko is still in the game. Just wouldn’t be the same without it. No song has ever had just a huge impact on me as that one.

thats very true, epic song. But I hope the game gets release outside japan this time… :(

It’s releasing in Europe a day after the Japanese version.

last time they said the same thing but never came out…i dont trust nintendo anymore

Im sorry but Chou will not be theme song for these game, the theme song is Kurenai meaning Crimson

Still no North American release just like Fatal Frame 4? Boooo!

Why didn’t they just wait and remake it for the wii u in high def? it barely looks better than the ps2 version, a wii u version would be gorgous and it would bring a lot of new fans to the series. What a waisted opportunity.
