New AMY details, sequel planned for 2012

I can’t say this enough, but we here at Rely on Horror are really excited about the upcoming survival horror title AMY. The game aims to bring back the true feeling of survival horror, something which has been MIA even in the most recent exploits from franchises under the same umbrella. The game isn’t expected to hit until the latter part of this summer, but now we have some fresh information to share with you.

The pricing of this PSN, and possibly XBLA and Steam, title is said to be no more than $12. And you’re going to be getting a good amount of content for the money you’ll be paying as well. AMY’s length will be around 6 hours, spread across 6 chapters.  Now, we’ve also learned that a sequel is already planned to hit in 2012 for unspecified platforms (most likely the same digital platforms the original will land on). It’s too early to say but it seems like this may be the start of a new survival horror series. Let’s hope so.

We’ll keep you posted on more AMY news.
