It’s no secret that Telltale Games is already hard at work on season 2 of their critically acclaimed title The Walking Dead. With the success of the first season, did you really expect them to just say “Whelp, that’s a wrap! Let’s see if Scooby Doo needs a gritty re-telling.” It turns out, however, that fans might not need to wait until Season 2 is released for more Walking Dead fun.
Game writer Gary Whitta revealed on IGN’s Up at Noon something interesting.
Knowing that [Season 2] is a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead, there may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two. We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two.
Perhaps a season 1.5?! A little taste for things to come? We’ll have to wait and see. Fans of Telltale Games’ series know that waiting is all part of the (not) fun.
