The incredibly popular Five Nights At Freddy‘s released a few months ago, offering simple but effective gameplay. Despite my thoughts on the game’s overuse and dependance on shallow jump scares as its method of horror, I respect the game’s success. That success has brought a sequel, which is now listed on Steam Greenlight.
Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 is currently on Greenlight seeking votes on whether or not it should be approved, but I’m sure it will be. The first game has managed to receive merchandising in retail stores; it’s not going to have a hard time.
The second game seems to be switching up gameplay a bit by no longer including doors to shelter one’s self, but a hiding in plain sight approach where players have to wear a Freddy head to trick the murderous animatronics. If this game is your sorta thing, go right ahead and vote for it. I won’t stop you. I’ll just stare at you.
