WW1 Survival Horror ‘Trenches’ Now Available on PC and Consoles

Trenches is a new horror experience from the developer of The Backrooms 1998 and Customers From Hell, Steelkrill Studios, published by indie publisher Ratalaika Games. For those interested in the desolate atmosphere of World War 1, Trenches is a game worth trying out.

Trenches was previously released on Steam Early Access to highly positive reviews. As of January 20, the game is officially available on consoles as well as PC.

Escape, hide and survive in a story set in 1917. As a soldier trying to find his way back home to his family, you must escape the massive, headless monster that is chasing you throughout the maze-like trenches of WW1. Enjoy randomized actions and scares, two gameplay modes, plenty of exploration and fun puzzles, a setting that constantly changes, and more.

The only way to escape your nightmare is by retrieving clues hidden around the large map and meeting various objectives. Your objectives will be randomized each play-through, so you can expect a unique experience each time you play. But be cautious and take advantage of hiding spots, as there is a monster following your trail around the map.

Trenches is now available for $9.99 on the Playstation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. You can also enjoy the game on PC via Steam.
