A room-scale fan remake of Five Nights At Freddy’s for the HTC Vive has received a new update which includes new features and a special ‘Halloween Night’.

Developer Dielji has announced on Reddit and his GameJolt page the latest update for his VR fan remake of Five Nights At Freddy’s, called Vive Nights At Freddy’s. Love the pun. The update includes the ability to dynamically resize the security office to match your play area. The game will auto calibrate based on your location, with further tweaks available through the title screen. Players can also use HMD on the title screen to ensure that they can reach all of the control buttons.

A more festive inclusion has also been revealed. The game will also include a special ‘Halloween Night’. Dielji is being tight-lipped about what the Halloween Night will include, so you are going to have to try it out for yourself.

As of writing, the game is still in development. Vive Nights At Freddy’s includes the first two nights but will be expanding to feature a full 5+ nights. For those who are familiar with the original Five Nights At Freddy’s, you can expect a unique experience with the VR version. Dielji has hinted that his remake of the game will include things that weren’t present int he original game. For the hardcore Five Nights At Freddy’s fans, the VR fan remake will offer a unique experience.
