Those Who Remain, A Psychological Horror Game, Drops a New Trailer
Those Who Remain is one of those video games that we have not heard much about but, on paper, looks promising. Based on the trailer at the end of the article, Those Who Remain is a psychological horror game, being developed by Camel 101 and published by Wired Productions.
The game will arrive for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Unfortunately, we still do not have any confirmed release dates. In the new trailer, we can see how its development has progressed.
Leo Zullo, managing director of Wired Productions, said in a press release:
The game is packed full of atmosphere and is sure to take your imagination to another dimension. We are delighted to be welcoming the title and the team to the Wired family – and to Gamescom.
Ricardo Cesteiro, the co-founder of Camel 101, commented:
We could not be more excited about partnering up with Wired Productions as they are partners who are as truly passionate about games as we are. They are experienced with this genre and will help share our vision for the game with a global audience, which we’re beyond thrilled about.
Here is an excerpt from Steam:
The horrors and darkness that thrive in the corner of every eye are torn loose. Those Who Remain places you in an up-close, psychological horror story set in the sleepy town of Dormont – a town in a spiralling split from the fabric of reality, warped by darkness and the deeds of the Citizens who reside. Confront the uncomfortable horrors reflected by the darkness and survive the night of Dormont as Edward is confronted with a test of his sanity, morality and the shadows of evil that lurks below.
One of the functions available in the game will be to switch between the ordinary world and an altered and dark version of Dormont. The decisions and preferences of the player will mark the path of the protagonist, thus affecting events and the game’s ending.
Media and influencers will be able to go hands-on with Those Who Remain at Gamescom 2019 by appointment. It will be available at the Wired Productions booth, c-050, in Business Hall 2.2, alongside other games also on showcase.
