Battlefield 6 Brings Dead Space Horror in New Crossover Event

Dead Space and Battlefield Latest Collaboration

Three years after the Dead Space Remake launched in 2023, EA is bringing its sci-fi horror world back in Battlefield 6. The official Battlefield YouTube channel has released a new video confirming that the latest event, Convergence, is available starting today and will run until November 10.

As part of Battlefield 6’s Halloween festivities, EA is offering a new cooperative PvE experience that lets up to 16 players team up to fight AI-controlled enemies in a mode called Marker Incursion. The event brings elements from the Dead Space universe into Battlefield, including an alien artifact known as the Marker, which causes soldiers to go insane and turn against each other.

Players will need to work together to survive the encounters and complete objectives while facing the threats created by the Marker. The event combines Battlefield’s large-scale combat with the unsettling atmosphere of Dead Space, offering a different experience from the game’s usual multiplayer modes.

Players can also use the iconic Dead Space Pulse Rifle to fight enemies during the event. Meanwhile, those looking to customize their characters and equipment can unlock special rewards, including the Aegis VII Soldier Skin, weapon skins, stickers, and other Dead Space-themed cosmetics.

Convergence is worth checking out for fans of both franchises, particularly those who enjoy cooperative PvE modes and sci-fi horror. The event is available in Battlefield 6 and its free-to-play spinoff, REDSEC, giving players another reason to jump into the action during the Halloween season.
