Rely on Horror Presents the 2019 Retro Horror Charity Livestream! (Update)

Update 2: We raised $3030 USD, beating our record from last year! Thank you to everyone who donated.

Update: We’ve had to delay the charity stream by a week. Please join us on November 10th!

2019 has been a hell of a year for everyone, it seems. From illness and tragedy to whatever the current administration of… every country? is doing, this year has been rough. For children battling serious illness and their families, though, it isn’t just the year that is hard. Every day, and sometimes every hour, can bring new horrors that even Team Silent couldn’t dream up. That’s why every Halloween, we team up to help them fight with a charitable livestream.

This year Rely on Horror will once again take to Twitch to raise money for Extra Life, a charity benefiting Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. We’re keeping it short and sweet with a single day of Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Join RoH staffers Rourke, Whitney, and Destiny as we take on early titles in two of the best-known series in horror gaming. Chat with us on Twitch, ask questions about your favorite writers and games, and help us reach our goal of $1,000 for ExtraLife 2019.

SUNDAY – November 10 @ 7AM EST

  • Resident Evil 2
  • Silent Hill 2
  • Silent Hill 3

The charity livestream begins on November 10th at 7 AM EDT and will end around 11pm EST. The event will be livestreamed through its entirety on the Rely on Horror Twitch.tv channel. Subscribe and set a reminder today to make sure you don’t miss out!

How to Donate:

Please visit extralife.relyonhorror.com beginning tonight to donate to the Retro Horror Charity Livestream, benefiting Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. You may donate ahead of the stream to give us a head start or while we’re live so we can say thank you! Our fundraising goal is $1000.00, and every dollar up to that goal will be matched at the end of the stream, doubling the healing power of each donation. Green herbs for everyone!
