Silent Hill: Townfall Set to Arrive on PS5 and PC This Fall

Silent Hill: Townfall

The Silent Hill series is making a comeback this autumn, following the launch of Silent Hill 2 Remake in 2024 and Silent Hill f last year during the same period. This time around, Konami has finally confirmed the release date for Silent Hill: Townfall, which was initially announced four years ago.

We reported earlier today that the ESRB rating for the title has surfaced on the internet, which is usually an indication that a release date for the game is near. As expected, Silent Hill: Townfall was shown at Sony’s recent State of Play event, and it was announced that the game will release on September, 24, 2026 for PS5 and PC.Silent Hill: Townfall

Developed by Scottish studio Screen Burn Interactive and co-published by Annapurna Interactive and Konami, Townfall takes place in 1990s-era Scotland in the eerily quiet town. The game follows protagonist Simon Ordell, who must uncover the truth behind his connections to a village he knows nothing about. Now, the latest trailer even gives a better look at the title.

It starts with Simon awakening on the docks of St. Amelia, from where he uses a retro CRTV to follow a woman’s voice he’s been hearing around the town. We heard the woman’s voice in the last trailer, but we were finally shown her in the latest one. Her name is Zoe, and according to the latest PlayStation blog, she’s been referring to a nurse at a clinic.

There’s a lot more shown in the trailer, like creepy creatures sneaking around the town’s buildings. Therefore, it is better if you watch the full trailer below. The team has also confirmed that Silent Hill: Townfall is now available for pre-order in both standard and deluxe editions.

The Standard Edition comes with the “CRTV: Rusted” and “CRTV: Beach Edition” bonus cosmetics, which let players change the look of their CRTV. The Deluxe Edition will include a “Simon’s Outfit: Alternate” skin, as well as a bonus application featuring an interactive artbook and a digital soundtrack. Not only that, but players who buy the Deluxe Edition will also get 48-hour early access to the game.

This is an exciting time for Silent Hill fans, as this release will mark the third consecutive year for a new Silent Hill game. As we approach the release date, we are likely to hear more information about the title.
