Silent Hill Remake Could Arrive in 2027

Back in September 2025, it was officially confirmed that Bloober Team was remaking the original Silent Hill. At the time, there was no release window, but now it looks as though the game could be on track for a 2027 release.

That’s according to a report from MP1st, which seems confident in saying that next year could the launch window it’s aiming for. The report goes on to say that this aligns with Konami’s intent to release new entries in the Silent Hill franchise at a more steady pace.

Given that we’ve seen the likes of SH2 remake (2024), Silent Hill f (2025), and Townfall in succession, this checks out series producer Motoi Okamoto’s aim to have a release roughly once a year.

Additionally, MP1st has also revealed two cast members who are attached to the remake. Actresses Gabrielle Fritz (Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus) and Jade Matthew (Torchwood: The Story Continues) are said to be involved, though their roles aren’t known yet.

Of course, as there are only a handful of female characters in Silent Hill, it shouldn’t be too difficult to narrow it down. At the time of writing, no names have been suggested for the role of Harry Mason.

Hot off the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, a reimagining of the first game in the series is one that many fans have been after for some time. According to known leaker Dusk Golem, the game (which is going by the name “Project Noise”) could have been in development since 2022. As such, a 2027 release doesn’t seem too far fetched. However, it’s worth noting that production dates can change.
