An Unofficial Native PC Version of Silent Hill: Downpour Is in Development

Silent Hill Downpour

Silent Hill: Downpour launched 14 years ago in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Since then, it never made its way to PC. Now, a YouTuber released a trailer for an unofficial native PC version after working on the project for quite a while.

A YouTuber named Indie_RU shared the trailer and confirmed that he transferred and adapted all the content from the console version to PC rather than relying on recompilation or emulation. The trailer also showcases all features planned for the PC version.

This port supports unlocked frame rates and resolutions, along with controller support. While the developer hasn’t really confirmed keyboard support, one scene in the trailer shows a menu with full keyboard keys. However, he has yet to announce a release date for the PC version.
