Resident Evil Requiem was released earlier this year and became the fastest-selling title in the franchise’s history. It already crossed 7 million in sales in less than 2 months since launch. Soon after, the developers confirmed extra content was already in development for the title.
Earlier this week, Capcom hinted that a mini game would be arriving for Resident Evil Requiem soon, but nobody expected the developers to shadow-drop it without any prior announcement. The great thing is that the title’s very first DLC is free for all players who own it.
The official Resident Evil YouTube channel released a short teaser for the DLC, titled “Leon Must Die Forever.” The new mini-game mode will only be accessible once players have completed the main story. The description of the DLC says:
Grace made it home safely, but Leon still has work to do. Use his enhanced abilities to complete this mini-game as fast as possible.
Players will have to pass through numerous stages using randomized enhancer abilities, and must get past each stage as quickly as possible, much like a free roguelike mode.
If you finished the main story, you can jump in to try out the very first free DLC for Resident Evil Requiem. The game is expected to receive more DLC in the coming months, so hit us with a follow to stay updated on all the latest information.
