Gamers Day 2011: Resident Evil Revelations’ new story trailer is here, along with new screens

Perhaps Resident Evil Revelations’ Raid Mode isn’t your cup of tea. If that’s the case then you’ll definitely want to check out the game’s new story trailer. The trailer is extra long when compared to previous ones, but that’s because we also get a neat little overview of the game’s features in the last half of it.

The story is already shaping up to be an engrossing one, filled with more conspiracies than William can shake a pipe at. It’s also filled with many characters too, many of which we get to check out with this new trailer. We also get to see some variations of the game’s water-based BOWs (at long last!). Then there’s a rather interesting scene we get to see with this new traler: a full-scale attack on Terragrigia using BOWs. Basically, we’re going to see just how the world transitioned from Resident Evil 4’s time period to 5’s, in which the fear of bioterrorism was widespread and at an all-time high. (Those damn Hunters!)

I’ll be going in depth with my analysis for this new trailer in the next installment of reHorror. In the meantime, check it out for yourselves below, along with some new screens showing off Keith Lumley and Quint Cetcham’s playable scenario. Oh, and if you thought Hunters were already deadly in their past portrayals then trust me, you haven’t seen nothing yet!

And O’Brian is such a party pooper!
