METRO 2039 Pre-Orders Now Live, Plus Details About All Editions

Metro 2039: a soldier in combat gear points his rifle and doesn't seem phased by his b ack being engulfed in fire.

METRO 2039 was announced earlier this year, and we even saw a trailer for the game during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Now, Deep Silver and 4A Games have opened up pre-orders for the Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions. The studio has also revealed a universal pre-order bonus called the Specialist Pack.

The Specialist Pack includes three blueprints that offer early unlocks for unique and swappable backpack upgrades. The developer has also introduced a new feature called Blueprints, which encourages exploration, allowing players to craft upgrades and attachments for weapons and gear. The pre-order bonus gives players a head start on their Metro journey, but they’ll need to choose wisely, as only one upgrade can be equipped at a time.

  • Equipment Specialist Pouch – For gunsmiths who want to focus on crafting advanced weapons and gear quickly.
  • Chemtech Specialist Pouch – For explorers who want to brave radioactive areas with more gas mask filters and cleaner, more reliable equipment.
  • Munitions Specialist Pouch – For marksmen looking to find and use rarer, more powerful ammunition types.

METRO 2039 is available to pre-order in three editions across all platforms: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s. All three include the full game, while the Standard and Deluxe Editions will be available in both digital and physical formats.

The Deluxe Edition will also include METRO 2039’s Story Expansion DLC, which is set to arrive post-launch. While details about the expansion remain scarce, the developer plans to share more information in the near future.

Deep Silver and 4A Games have also confirmed the additional content included with each version of the Deluxe Edition. Digital Deluxe Edition owners will receive a digital art book and the official soundtrack. The physical Deluxe Edition will give access to an exclusive Steelbook, a hardback art book, and special packaging. Lastly, the Collector’s Edition includes a wearable Spartan Helmet replica alongside the contents of the physical Deluxe Edition.
