Remothered: Tormented Fathers Arrives on Consoles on July 25

remothered review

The Clock Tower-inspired survival horror game Remothered: Tormented Fathers is headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in just one month. Survival horror fans that missed out on the game’s original PC release are in for a treat, as Remothered is quite the throwback to the genre’s greatest era.

Remothered is an independent survival horror game that was in development for many years, getting its start as a Clock Tower fan game. With great visuals and memorable enemy encounters, Remothered scored an 8.5/10 when I reviewed it last February. Since then, the game has received several patches to tighten up the gameplay further.

As Rosemary, enter the Felton estate in search of answers about the disappearance of a young girl named Jennifer. Once the lights go out and the doors lock, Rosemary needs to quietly maneuver through the mansion as to not alert the sickle-wielding Mr. Felton (among other dangerous folk). If you’re a console gamer and you’ve yet to give the game a try, July 25th is your chance.
