If you need something to do while you’re idling around (maybe while watching Awesome Games Done Quick this week), perhaps you could check out the short and simple Pyramid Chase. This browser based project by Ansimuz games has Maria running down an endless hallway from an approaching Pyramid Head. Meanwhile, positive and negative words start hovering in from the left that can harm Maria. By typing in the correct arrow, they’ll be eliminated and you’ll receive points based on how quickly you respond. There’s no winning, but maybe you’re good at James enough to get past 200 points.
While not complex by any means, the presentation is neat and certainly offers more than anything Konami is actually doing at the moment with the franchise.
