Metal Gear Survive rises with new trailer before February launch

In about a month and a half, Konami is releasing Metal Gear Survive as the last part of MGSV’s legacy. After some silence and testing over the last year, the team put out a short Single Player campaign trailer that covers some unseen cutscenes from both the “real world” of MGS and the strange wormhole world your characters are trapped in. The footage also shows quite a bit of gameplay including how you’ll assemble your makeshift fortifications along with all the goofy traps you can use against your crystal-headed foes, along with the return of the AI Pod who will function as your announcer throughout missions.

You can watch this five minute briefer below (courtesy of IGN). Metal Gear Survive releases on February 20th in the US and February 22nd in Europe for Windows, Xbox One, and PS4 at a lower price point of 39.99. No word has been provided for other territories. Preordering the title offers some goofy cosmetics for your soldiers.
