Get Even Gets Respectfully Delayed Due to Manchester Attack

Bandai Namco’s upcoming survival horror game Get Even has been delayed to June 23 (from May 26) “out of respect” for those affected by the tragic terrorist attack this week in Manchester, England. A representative of the publisher wrote on their Facebook page the following:

“Given recent events & out of respect we have decided to postpone Get Even to June 23, 2017. We would like to express our deepest condolences.

We’ll also be postponing our Get Even livestream originally scheduled for May 25th. Thank you for understanding and stay tuned for details regarding the stream.”

Get Even is a psychological thriller in which protagonist Cole Black works against the clock to save a teenage girl wired with a bomb within an abandoned mental asylum. There’s ostensibly more to the game than just that, but given the nature of the threat, it makes sense for Bandai Namco to tread so carefully. I’m sure prospective buyers of the game will unders- *looks at FB comments* – never mind. Sigh.
