Alien: Isolation 2 was first announced in 2024 following the tenth anniversary of the franchise. However, Creative Assembly remained quiet about the game’s development until very recently, when it shadow-dropped a tease for the game in April. The studio then released the debut trailer for the title during Summer Game Fest.
While Creative Assembly has yet to discuss a release window or share many additional details, there’s finally more exciting news about Alien: Isolation 2. Just recently, SEGA announced its lineup for Gamescom 2026, and the Japanese company will offer no fewer than five playable games.
Gamescom 2026 will take place from August 26 to August 30. Located at Hall 7 in Cologne’s Koelnmesse, SEGA’s immersive booth will feature hands-on opportunities, photo opportunities, on-stand challenges, and merch giveaways. The event will also mark Alien: Isolation 2’s first public hands-on appearance in Europe.
Other titles like Persona 4 Revival, Stranger Than Heaven, Crazy Taxi: World Tour, and Total War: Warhammer 40,000 will be the other four playable games at SEGA’s booth.
With Alien: Isolation 2 making its first public playable appearance, fans can likely expect a wave of hands-on previews and impressions once Gamescom kicks off next month.
You can watch the SEGA lineup reveal video below and wishlist the title on PC via Steam, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
