Alien: Isolation was released over a decade ago in 2014 and became an instant hit. Following that, the developers confirmed a sequel to Isolation for its 10th anniversary in 2024. Since that time, Creative Assembly has been quiet about the sequel’s development.
The developers officially stated that the sequel was in its early stages back in 2024 and was still years away from a release. However, today, Creative Assembly released the very first teaser for Alien Isolation 2 out of nowhere, surprising us.
Notably, the latest trailer is more of a teaser and doesn’t reveal anything substantial, like the release date. The teaser has been posted on the developers’ YouTube channel under the name ‘False Sense Of Security.’
The sequel may not take place on the spaceship, as one of the ending clips in the teaser shows an outdoor location that looks like a planet.
It is best to take this speculation with a grain of salt, as the developers have not officially commented on them yet and they are based on what was shared. Still, fans can expect to learn more about Alien Isolation 2 very soon as the developers will likely reveal more at Summer Game Fest or other tradeshows.
