Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is setting up to be quite the interesting spin-off hitting XBLA on February 22nd. Today the achievements for the title have been released, and they’re about what you’d expect. Four achievements based on story progression, several based on the Arcade mode, one for collectibles, and the odd achievement to present a small challenge to the player. The achievement to beat an Arcade Mode level with nothing but a flashlight and flares reminds me of the, “Don’t fire a single shot,” achievement from the first game, which was arguably the most fun achievement of the original Alan Wake and should be fun to accomplish here. You can check out the full list of achievements in the source below.
