The cast of ‘Alien’ talks about video games

The cast of the 1979 film Alien will be reprising their roles for Sega’s upcoming Alien: Isolation pre-order DLC. Sigourney Weaver (Ellen Ripley), Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett) and Yaphet Kotto (Parker) talk about the effectiveness of the video game medium, in this new video released by the publisher.

It has been a  pretty long time since the cast worked on Alien, but hopefully their performances are still great and fill fans with nostalgia. I’m a little iffy on the shots of Harry Dean Stanton and Veronica Cartwright in the recording studio; they were a little stilted, but maybe I’m imagining things.

The “Crew Expendable” and “Last Survivor” DLC packs are available through pre-order only, with the latter being Gamestop exclusive. Sega seems to be putting a lot of stock into Isolation‘s preorder content, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it became available for purchase after the game’s release.

Alien: Isolation releases on October 7 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, and PC.
