NightCry’s Kickstarter stretch goals tease possible console release
NightCry‘s Kickstarter page recently revealed their 15th update, and there are some juicy tidbits of information to be found within. First and foremost, console stretch goals have been revealed. If the total amount reaches $450,000, a PS4 port of the game will be created. If $550,000 is reached there will be an Xbox One port. Considering they’re only halfway to their $300,000 goal, they might be stuck in dreamland, but I hope they get the support they need.
Also featured in the update is an over-the-shoulder recording of Takashi Shimizu (director of The Grudge) trying out the game to “tune the horror aspects of the game.” In addition to this, you can watch both a short test of the hair physics and a 9 minute extended gameplay trailer. I’d love to get my hands on NightCry, even though the main character’s running animation cracks me up every time.
