Zoochosis, the bodycam horror simulation title developed by Clapperheads and released last September, is coming to Sony consoles. The studio recently announced the horror game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, but there’s been no launch date yet. All we know is it’s coming “very soon.”
While the date has yet to be revealed, players can add the game to their wishlist via the PlayStation Store or check it out on Steam. The announcement comes with a new trailer, showing the animal-based body horror that awaits.
Here is what the game’s actually about, for those who haven’t played it:
Zoochosis is a bodycam horror simulation game. You’re a zookeeper. Identify infected mutant animals, make a vaccine and cure them. Will you save all of them and survive?
So it’s kind of like Zoo Tycoon meets Five Nights at Freddy‘s. Some of the game’s features are thus:
- Become the Night Zookeeper – Interact with the animals, take care of them, choose and prepare their meals, restock, and clean up after them in the enclosure.
- Save the Animals – Something is terribly wrong with the animals. Can you unravel the mysteries of the zoo and save them? You must discover the cause of the infection, create a vaccine, and cure them before it’s too late.
- Choices Matter – Which animals will you save? How will you cure them? Your decisions will be key to your survival and the ultimate ending of the story.
- Bodycam Footage – Strap on your bodycam and capture all the terrifying events of the evening. Explore the darkest corners of the zoo with a unique perspective, adding a new level of tension and horror to your quest.
