The original Turok and its utterly fantastic sequel, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, are making their way to the Nintendo Switch so you can kill dinosaurs while on the toilet.
The original title was revealed through the Nintendo store while the sequel was revealed on Twitter by people close to the developers, Nightdive Studios. Both titles will be ports of the HD remasters released for PC back in 2015.
So far, the only title currently visible on the official Nintendo store is the original, which has been priced at $20.00 and has a release date of March 18, 2019. Though the sequel hasn’t made an appearance on the Nintendo store, it has been confirmed but no official release date has been announced.

Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil are two first-person shooters developed by Acclaim Entertainment and released on the Nintendo 64 in the nineties. Both games put players in the shoes of Turok, a Native American time-travelling warrior whose job is to protect the barrier between Earth and the Lost Land.
This basically boils down to shooting lots of dinosaurs and monsters with weapons such as the Cerebral Bore, which latched onto the victim’s head and drilled into their skull before it explodes. Both titles featured a fun campaign, a wide variety of weapons and enemies alongside really fun and engaging local multiplayer.
Who knows? Maybe these ports of Nintendo 64 classics will encourage Nintendo to release more titles? Or, they will just release a limited amount of an overpriced N64 Mini. Probably the latter.
