Total Chaos Unleashes Atmospheric Terror at OTK Games Expo

Total Chaos

Apogee Entertainment, the legendary publisher behind icons like Duke Nukem, Prey, and Max Payne, made waves at the inaugural OTK Games Expo with the reveal of brand-new trailers for their upcoming psychological survival horror experience, Total Chaos.

Developed by New Zealand-based Trigger Happy Interactive, best known for the explosive cyberpunk FPS Turbo Overkill, Total Chaos plunges players into the rotting heart of Fort Oasis, a long-abandoned mining colony now consumed by decay, madness, and monsters. Originally conceived as a DOOM II total conversion mod, Total Chaos has been completely reimagined and rebuilt from the ground up as a standalone game. What remains is an ode to survival horror’s roots, reinvigorated for today’s players.

Total Chaos

In Total Chaos, players will navigate nine harrowing chapters of relentless dread, where grotesque enemies stalk you through blood-soaked corridors and environmental storytelling whispers secrets you’re not sure you want to uncover. This is survival horror at its most uncompromising: resource management, brutal melee and ranged combat, and the constant pressure of knowing you’re always one misstep away from death.

Crafting is key. You’ll scavenge materials in the rubble of Fort Oasis to create and upgrade the few weapons that might keep you alive. Every bullet, every bandage, every item in your inventory could mean the difference between surviving another night or being consumed by the darkness.
