Topdown rougelite, Lovecraft’s Untold Stories, comes to consoles May 10th
After a successful launch on Steam at the beginning of the year, Russian indie developer Blini Games is putting their new title, Lovecraft’s Untold Stories, on the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on May 10th.
A pixel, action rougelite, this title makes itself distinct with five playable characters that have separate stories through their randomly generated levels that help them unlock each other, uncover secret areas with their unique abilities, and most importantly, find information to defeat several eldritch bosses. Akin to other cosmic horror titles, you have a sanity stat that will cause your character to lose their mind if poor decisions are made. With a run time of over five hours to unlock the cast and over 20 to see all the content, the game has garnered a “Very Positive” rating on Steam as of late.
There is currently a 25% off sale on said PC version (linked above), but the game is expected to release at $14.99 on all platforms. You can check out a gameplay-oriented trailer below.
