The Evil Within: The Assignment to release on March 10

Bethesda has announced today that The Evil Within‘s first DLC chapter is set to arrive on March 10. Starring Juli Kidman, Sebastian’s partner, The Assignment is a two-part expansion to The Evil Within and is set alongside the events of the game.

Based on the trailer, we’ll be learning a lot about Juli’s motivations and what she experienced in Ruvik’s world. New enemy types and encounters are on display in the trailer, and Juli’s VA (Jennifer Carpenter) has really kicked her performance up a notch from what we heard in the main game. Having given The Evil Within a break after my review back in October, today’s trailer has me excited to revisit Tango Gamework’s premier title, with hopes of seeing lots of new content in the gross variety.

The Evil Within: The Assignment releases its first part on March 10 for $9.99, and its second part is due out in the spring. Season Pass holders will have immediate access to The Assignment on release day.
