Team behind Dementium wants to bring you another survival horror experience

Cult County

Copyright is a silly thing, resulting in sad situations where creators can’t continue working on series they created, even if it still has eager fans that want to see the story continue. One such studio is Renegade Kid, famous for creating the Dementium franchise, who are now kickstarting a new first-person survival horror game because Dementium 3 just isn’t going to happen.

Cult County is set in Texas and has players explore a dusty town in search of their missing sister. It becomes apparent very quickly that her absence might be related to a mysterious cult that has recently started haunting the town and they are after you as well. The game is an action-driven episodic title that Renegade Kid personally describes as: “The Walking Dead meets Silent Hill 2 from a first-person perspective.”

In order to make the project happen, the studio requires a total of $580,000, which will ensure a release on Steam, Wii U, Xbox One, and Playstation devices, with stretch goals adding more consoles to the list.
