Psychological Horror Game ‘Dreadline Express’ Gets Oct.16 PC Release Date & New Trailer

Dreadline ExpressIf you enjoy horror games that focus on mystery rather than sudden scares, Dreadline Express might be worth keeping an eye on. The first-person psychological horror game is set to launch on October 16, 2026, for PC via Steam. It is being developed by David Konecny and published by Shoreline Games.

The release date was announced during Insider Gaming’s 28 Games Later horror showcase, where a brand-new trailer for the game was also revealed.

Dreadline Express is set on a fast-moving train traveling through a world that has been destroyed. The train is one of the last safe places for humans, but players will need to find out who the passengers are and what happened to the world outside.

Instead of giving players a simple list of tasks to complete, the game encourages them to explore the train and find answers on their own. Players will need to learn more about the remaining passengers, discover their stories, and slowly piece together what happened to the world.

One of the game’s main features is its card system. By speaking with passengers and completing different tasks, players can earn cards that are added to a growing album. Collecting these cards will open previously locked areas of the train and help reveal hidden connections between the passengers.

Dreadline ExpressThose interested in trying Dreadline Express before its release can currently download a free, limited-time playable demo from the game’s Steam page.

The full game is scheduled to arrive on October 16, 2026, although its official price has not yet been announced.
