JUBAKU is an upcoming psychological horror game developed by a small indie team named BABGamesStudio.
Set in Japan, 1991, you play as an American journalist assigned to investigate the infamous Tanaka Residence, a house where locals claim nobody survives beyond the third day.
Throughout the game, you document paranormal events, interview unsettling locals, search for hidden secrets, and uncover the truth behind the haunting. As your investigation progresses, the line between reality and nightmare begins to disappear, forcing you to question everything you see.
Your camera is your greatest investigative tool. You are tasked with photographing disturbing evidence, reviewing your findings, and earning a final journalistic grade based on the quality of your investigation.
Every choice shapes the story. Players will need to explore every lead to uncover hidden secrets and discover one of several endings, including a hidden true ending for those who reveal the complete truth behind the Tanaka Residence.
JUBAKU has a planned release date of Q1 2027. A demo is available now, and you can wishlist the game on Steam. Be sure to watch the brand-new trailer below.
