Scammers are taking advantage of people’s excitement by offering access to a beta of the highly anticipated Silent Hill f, only to steal personal information from gamers. Many fall for these tricks, eager to be part of the game.
The official Silent Hill f account on X (formerly Twitter) has issued a warning about fake invitations for non-existent closed beta tests, game-related events, and websites designed to collect sensitive details from unsuspecting players.
The developers confirmed that the number of fake accounts tied to Silent Hill f is on the rise, and these accounts are being used to trap gamers.
They have urged players to only use the official website and X account for trusted information about the game. These are the only reliable sources for news related to Silent Hill.
The developers also reminded everyone that any other website or social media account using words like “Silent Hill f” or “Konami” in their URL, or showing game graphics, is not officially connected to the company.
