In a recent interview in the german GamePro magazine, Silent Hill Downpour developer Radek Marek reveils that their game is more comparable to Silent Hill 2 rather than to Homecoming or any other game of the series.
They also think “that the Survival Horror genre was a bit dead in the past years” and “we want to give it a new kick”
Finally: “We respect what the players want, not just regarding horror athmosphere but also story.”
