Silent Hill 2 Remake May Be Coming to Xbox Series this November

Silent Hill 2 Remake

It looks like Silent Hill 2 Remake is finally making its way to Xbox. According to a prematurely updated listing on the Microsoft Store, the game will launch for Xbox Series X|S on November 21, 2025. The listing was quickly removed, but not before True Achievements captured the details. While there’s still no official confirmation from Konami or Bloober Team, the evidence appears convincing.

This isn’t the first time hints have surfaced about an Xbox release. The ESRB rated the Silent Hill 2 Remake for Xbox in late October, which strongly suggests that the year-long PS5 exclusivity period has ended. Konami and Sony reportedly set the exclusivity agreement for twelve months when the remake launched on PS5 and PC in October 2024. Lining up almost perfectly with the newly leaked release date.

Store data shows the Xbox version will be fully optimized for Series X and Series S consoles. It will also release on the Microsoft Store for PC. The listing doesn’t mention Play Anywhere support, so players will likely need to buy separate copies for console and PC. Even without official word from Konami, the consistency of these details suggests that the game’s arrival on Xbox is imminent.

Interestingly, the leak also coincides with ongoing rumors about a potential Silent Hill 2 release on the Nintendo Switch 2. Whether both versions will launch around the same time remains uncertain. It seems clear that Konami is preparing to bring the remake to a broader audience.

For Xbox players who have been waiting to experience James nightmarish return to Silent Hill, the wait might finally be over.
