Update: The demo download button is broken and Capcom rep WBacon says the team and Valve are looking into the issue.
Finally, everyone’s ready!
After months of waiting, the PC crowd finally has the ability to download and play Resident Evil VII: Biohazard‘s excellent Beginning Hour demo, complete and with everything available from the word go! If you need help, I put together a guide for completing both the main demo and it’s spooky side-quest thing. The demo itself can be downloaded from Steam, but note the page only just appeared and you may not be able to download it for a few minutes-hours depending on your location. It may still be propagating across Steam’s servers.
Just a little over a month left before RE7 takes the main stage, so have fun picking apart the demo for all it’s worth!
