Rely on Horror is a horror publication covering the latest triple-A and indie horror games. We cover everything from unique and existential slow-burners and horror-themed adventures to pants-wetting jump scare-fests and terrifying FPS. The site has been around since November 2009 and has gone on to become one of the most respected sources for survival horror news. Covering the worlds of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and many more, the site shows no signs of slowing down.
We’re currently looking to expand our great team of horror writers. This is your chance to become a part of a steadily growing niche online magazine.

If you’re interested in writing about games that we cover and have a love for news and feature writing, we would love to hear from you. Several of our team members have gone on to work professionally in the journalism and video game industries in such roles as Senior PR rep and full-time concept artist.
When applying, please provide a sample article. You can also provide us with links to your previous work, YouTube channel, etc.
Please bear in mind that we’re a niche site and cannot compete with bigger outlets that cover a wider spectrum. We do however have a solid payment system that honors any post made, plus a bonus if the article gets high view numbers.
