We didn’t expect major announcements in the first half hour of The Game Awards 2025, but that’s exactly what happened! Early in the event, it was revealed that Pragmata will launch on April 24, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and — in a big surprise — Nintendo Switch 2.
Additionally, it was confirmed that a demo is now available on Steam, allowing players to try the game before its official release. Those who are curious can experience what to expect firsthand.
The game’s official website explains that Pragmata is set in the near future, where humanity has discovered a mineral called Lunum, a material capable of replicating anything, as long as they have its data. However, one day, communication with the lunar research station was suddenly lost. As a result, a response team is sent, but soon after, a lunar earthquake occurs.
Based on what’s been shown in the Gamescom 2025 demo, this sci-fi adventure will have players face off against a powerful AI.
Currently, there is very limited information known about the game. As more details become available, we’ll make sure to keep you updated here at Rely on Horror.
In other The Game Awards news, Leon S. Kennedy has finally been officially confirmed as a playable character in the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem.
