Our November Commentary is for… Saw
Twists, turns, blood, gore, and massive revelations to the beat of some sweet music. The Saw series, while it has had its fair share of ups and downs (and downs… and downs), no-one can deny the staying power of the original 2004 film from James Wan (The Conjuring) and Leigh Whannel (Insidious). I’m personally excited to dive into Saw, the blood-soaked horror turned pseudo-philosophy that dared to ask the question what are you willing to do to stay alive (you know… after Mad Max and Watchmen had nearly identical ideas 20-30 years beforehand) for our commentary this month.
