I recently got a chance to listen to both Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Mirror of Fate’s soundtracks from start to finish. They’re amazing, nothing short of excellence and among some of the best soundtracks in gaming this generation. I’ll be writing a piece on the music from both games soon, offering my overall recommendation of both soundtracks. But now Konami has distracted me thanks to their release of a new track from Lords of Shadow 2. I need this soundtrack now!
Oscar Araujo has just released a new track from the game on his YouTube channel, titled “The Throne.” It’s another noteworthy piece of music from the composer, and I can’t help but picture Dracula going up against a certain baddie (no spoilers!) when I listen to it.
