After rising anticipation, Little Nightmares III was released in October last year and was met with mixed reviews. While fans and critics alike praised the game for its strong atmosphere and visual design, Supermassive Games was criticised for playing it safe, as the game didn’t offer anything innovative.
It appears the developers still have plenty of content in store for fans, as Bandai Namco and Supermassive have announced The Backstage DLC for Little Nightmares III, available on all platforms starting June 12.
Bandai Namco also released a DLC reveal trailer on their official YouTube channel, offering an early look at this very first DLC for Little Nightmares III. This additional content will take players to the darkest part of Carnevale, where they are introduced to a new character and new perils.
This story DLC will allow players to meet a new character named Dime. Dime wears a hat emitting bright light, quite helpful for seeing in the dark. Both children will now face different threats to save the character “Alone” from the Puppeteer.
