Fans of first-person cinematic horror have a new reason to keep an eye out for a game we previously covered back in 2024, Haunted Bloodlines. Publishers Iphigames and Serafini Productions, alongside developer Horrified Triangles, have unveiled a brand-new cinematic trailer during The Horror Game Awards.
The latest footage offers a deeper look at the game’s ever-changing mansion, while also confirming that Haunted Bloodlines will launch on both PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
Drawing inspiration from horror staples like P.T. and Rose Red, Haunted Bloodlines places players inside a sprawling estate inherited after the sudden death of their father. What initially appears to be a family inheritance quickly spirals into something far more disturbing, as the mansion begins to reveal unsettling truths about both its history and the bloodline connected to it.
The house itself serves as the centerpiece of the experience. Rooms will allegedly shift and rearrange themselves, memories emerge that seemingly do not belong to the player, and reality gradually becomes harder to distinguish from hallucination. As players descend deeper into the mystery surrounding their family, they will be forced to navigate a living environment that appears to react to their presence.
Like many of its contemporaries, survival takes precedence over confrontation. Players will have no means of defending themselves, relying instead on stealth, exploration, and puzzle-solving to stay alive. The game also promises sequences that move between the real world and a haunted reflection of it, uncovering different pieces of the narrative while exposing players to new horrors.
Originally conceived as a student project, Haunted Bloodlines has since evolved into a full-scale horror title under Horrified Triangles, blending psychological horror with elements of Greek mythology. The newly released trailer offers a clearer look at the game’s vision, and for fans of atmospheric horror, it may be worth watching closely for narrative insight.
