Dante gets pretty(er) in these DMC HD Collection screens
Capcom announced that Dante’s first three adventures will be returning to gamers early next year in high definition. With the announcement comes a few screenshots to show off the changes in this HD rerelease of Devil May Cry 1-3. I took the liberty of combining the standard and high definition images for you guys. No applause, please.
The HD Collection promises to revamp the graphics–as seen in the images, and contain new content. No word on what that new content is, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a bunch of art and behind the scenes videos. I personally can’t wait to play through Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 3(DMC 3 being the special edition) once more. Yes, I know Devil May Cry 2 is also there, but I’m not going to pretend that game was good. Capcom avoided making a follow up to that game for years. After two prequels (one being a prequel to DMC 2), they decided to just restart the series with Hillary Swank as the lead role.
The Devil May Cry HD Collection is due out in early 2012 for $39.99.
