The Nintendo 3DS re-release of Corpse Party: Blood Covered may receive a slight delay, according to publisher XSEED. When asked on their Facebook page the status of the game’s release, which was expected sometime soon, the publisher responded with “We haven’t announced an official release date for the 3DS version of the game yet, all dates on retailer sites have been placeholders. It does seem like the game is going to push into October though.”
The 3DS release Corpse Party: Back to School Edition is a port of the PSP version, a remake of the original. Unlike the recent PC release, this version has the updated character sprites and reworked gameplay of Blood Covered, plus some exclusives like four new chapters. We’ll have to wait for a formal release date announcement, but it doesn’t sound like it’s any more than two months out.
