During the Nacon Connect event, the developers from ACE Team announced The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, a co-op horror game inspired by the stories of H.P. Lovecraft.
The announcement was accompanied by a trailer showcasing the first gameplay footage and the terrifying horrors players will face.
According to the developers, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is a first-person horror game that supports up to four players in cooperative mode.
The game draws inspiration from the H.P. Lovecraft story The Mound and places players in the roles of a group of explorers on an expedition to uncover a legendary underground city said to hold priceless treasures.
However, this journey will be anything but easy. Deep within a dark and oppressive jungle, players must explore and survive against monstrous creatures that distort their senses and put their lives in danger.
The game is set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) in 2025.
