Bad Taste brings Kenny Hotz and Lloyd Kaufman on board, releases new trailer

We first announced that Bad Taste, a tactical 2D action game inspired by trash cinema, was trying to get on Steam back in May of 2014. Since then it has been stuck in Greenlight, but now it has a new trailer and some extra hands to help with its development.

Studio Cancer Cinema has started working together with Kenny Hotz, writer and consultant for South Park and various other works, to help develop the game. In Bad Taste the player gains control of Spencer Rice, a man who must fight his way through a fastfood-induced zombie apocalypse to escape the city before the government decides to bomb it to oblivion. The best way to describe the game is with the word “disgusting”, both in its visuals and story, as some of the creatures our protagonist fights just look outright gross with equally off-putting death animations. It doesn’t feel right to say that I “like” it, but I certainly do want to play and experience it.

I have had contact with the studio and according to them, the Greenlight page is approaching the required number of votes. Check out the trailer below and, if you like what you see, then why not head over to the Greenlight page via the source and help the game get to the finish line.
