Catch up on Resident Evil: Unlimited before it returns!

Well, I have to say it’s been a very long time since a new Resident Evil: Unlimited has popped up on here. There’s been a tremendous amount of technical problems on my end, and getting the comic done (or in some cases even started) has been incredibly difficult for me to accomplish. But, here we are, folks! A new chapter of Resident Evil: Unlimited will debut this week, and I figured that, since it’s been a while, we should all catch up back at square 1.

Chapter 1: Nightmare

Chapter 2: Insanity

Chapter 3: Poisoned

Chapter 4: The Keeper’s Diary

Chapter 5: Back in the Saddle

Chapter 6: From Cradle to Grave

So, there you have it! The first 23 pages of Resident Evil: Unlimited! Next week, we come back with the newest episode, Chapter 7: Keeper’s Lament, and then REU will be caught up to a new weekly schedule, with a new chapter appearing every Thursday, exclusively right here, on Rely On Horror!

And as a special bonus, here’s a preview of what you have coming at you in the coming weeks!

Well, are you ready to enter the world of comics horror? See you next week!

Why does Chris have gray hair? not really working, among other things

    • Chris’ hair is painted grey just so that it can stand out from the background. The comic is generally very dark, and often (if painted black) his hair would disappear into the background. It’s also just so that his hair doesn’t appear flat, a similar example would be the blue highlights on Spider-Man’s costume. While he is generally shown to have a red and blue costume these days, Steve Ditko drew the character wearing a red and black costume in the 60s, with blue highlights muscle tone and shape, just so his body didn’t appear a flat black color.

I understand the concept, but making his hair fully gray does not come across as dark brown with highlights, it just makes him look older than Barry. Why not give him dark brown hair, or black with outlined highlights? Plus you haven’t done any color shading within the hair, thus I’m afraid it does come off fairly flat.
